It goes without saying our economy needs all the help it can get, but the hospitality industry (Beauty salons in particular) have been particularly downtrodden and disregarded by the English government, despite the industry contributing billions every year to the economy.

Well over the last few days I've witnessed the success of Eat Out to Help Out, and it's been great to see our little village thrive off the busier than usual tourism trade, my household has been particularly cautious when it comes to going out since Covid-19 but we wanted to support our local restaurants in Beer and surrounding area's too (I highly recommend a trip to La Pisani in Seaton if you love pasta and seafood - their Scallops Special was to die for at my last visit and Smugglers in Beer do a mean burger!)

So I thought to myself why shouldn't the beauty industry be supported in the same way? Well OK, so there's no indication from Ol' Boris that the same kind of support will be dished out to us, but my clients support and custom is what keeps my business going through these difficult times, ensuring the future of By the Shaw in our village so why not pass the same principal on to you?
